November is the Month of Push Ups! 

Your extra credit challenge this November is to accumulate a total of 500 push ups throughout the month. Your tally will start on Tuesday, November 1. Your tally will end Nov. 30th. 

We'll keep track of pushup accumulation on the big whiteboard at the gym, starting Tuesday.

You can do ANY push up variation you want to! But remember, the purpose of this is to build raw pushing strength here. So, they could be banded pushups, burpee style, or even weighted push ups!

Monday, October 31st we'll do a 2 Minute Test of max reps and then again on Wednesday, November 30th we'll re-do the test. If you're not in class on Monday 10/31, you can get it done any other time this week. This will just serve as a beginning benchmark for us to compare to our Nov. 30th score.

Pushups will count if they're done in the gym, at home, at work, on a park bench, on top of a mountain, in the back yard or even on the Great Wall of China! Just remember to update your tally when you come into 50 Main St. Oh, and push ups in the wods throughout the month will also count toward your total!

No costs, no prizes, just some good old fashioned commitment and hard work. Yea!
