One of the many reasons we train the way we do is because it is effective. And I can back up that statement with some actual data. Here you go:

SUMMER 2016 (June, July and 1/2 of August)

This data comes from the PR boards only. Many of our athlete clients do not write their accomplishments on the board, so those are not part of this documentation.

26 athletes had a personal best with some form of squat (front or back mostly)

13 athletes had a personal best with some form of overhead pressing (strict press, push, jerk)

9 athletes had a personal best for pullups (this includes 1st time pullups mostly)

*These are only records related to squat, overhead and pullups. There were many other types of PRs on that board over the summer that you all should be damn proud of.

87% of athletes that tested and re-tested Fran (thrusters and pullups) had a faster personal record after the re-test.

Just something to think about as we head into the fall season...
