Behind the Scenes!

If you aren't aware, every year after the Games CrossFit HQ puts out a bunch of behind the scenes videos of all of the athletes. They show a lot of raw emotion, talent and most importantly to me, it shows that they are all just normal people like you and I. Well, kinda like you and I. They are definitely not your average competitive exerciser, they put in countless hours perfecting their craft and almost all of them barely get any type of monetary gain from it. This stuff is truly awesome. I may or may not have watched all of them last week.

Obviously the videos are very lengthy but maybe this week you don't rewatch Gilmore Girls for the 6th time and there aren't any real sports on TV right now to watch anyways. What do you have to lose?

In class today we will be squatting just like last Monday. When I say that I mean JUST like last Monday. We will be using the same exact numbers but we will be taking much more time to emphasize the warm up and the technique. We can refine and tweak something as simple as the Back Squat. We will follow it up with some skill work that is specific to the WOD and then hit a quick little couplet.

Obviously on a smaller scale, and a lot of what the behind the scenes stuff is what I saw in Miami, and it was really cool to see just how human and real people these outrageous athletes are

I'm sorry, there are no real sports on? How deep are you trying to cut me? Go Red Sox, longest relationship I've ever had.
