Seven Valley Lift Off!
Today will be slightly different that most days here at 7VCF. We will give everybody 2 separate 12 minute blocks of time and you will first establish a 1RM Snatch then a 1RM Clean and Jerk. We will be practicing these movements during the warm up as well as during the skill portions before your 12 minute blocks. We will be practicing the squat variations during the skill work but for the WOD itself you will be able to perform these movements however you prefer (not from the hang). As long as your movement is safe then it is up to you.
These are both obviously very technical movements and we want you to try and give yourself some short, simple cues that you can focus on during your lifts. Most people get caught up overthinking these and end up feeling all wonky or uncoordinated.
